{"id":5286,"date":"2014-10-31T17:22:06","date_gmt":"2014-10-31T17:22:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crowdcontent.com\/blog\/?p=5286"},"modified":"2024-04-08T17:04:17","modified_gmt":"2024-04-08T17:04:17","slug":"feature-friday-getting-seo-metadata-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crowdcontent.com\/blog\/content-marketing\/feature-friday-getting-seo-metadata-content\/","title":{"rendered":"Feature Friday: Getting SEO Metadata with Your Content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Halloween and happy Friday!<\/p>\n<p>Today, Matt demonstrates how to order SEO metadata with your content.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sEqxLZetnwY\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve made it easy for you and your writer\u00a0to work together to get the metadata you need for your SEO strategy.<\/p>\n<p>From within the advanced order option area in the content order form, you will want to click &#8216;yes&#8217; when it asks you if you would like metadata.<\/p>\n<p>You can specify keywords, or leave it up to the writer to decide.<\/p>\n<p>When your writer picks up your order, they will be presented with 3 fields.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Metadata Title-\u00a0<\/strong>This section defaults to the h1 title of your order. It can also be customized based on your strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Metadata Description-\u00a0<\/strong>A best practice for metadata descriptions is anywhere <a href=\"https:\/\/moz.com\/learn\/seo\/meta-description\">between 150 and 160 characters<\/a>. We&#8217;ve set the character limit to 156 to ensure there is no overage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Metadata Keywords-\u00a0<\/strong>As previously mentioned, you can decide whether you&#8217;d like to provide these for your writer, or, you can leave it up to the writer to decide what best fits.<\/p>\n<p>Once the writer has returned the SEO metadata and content back to you, you can export the content in HTML or as a CSV file.<\/p>\n<p>If you have questions about this feature, feel free to leave a question in the comment box on this post, or contact your client account manager at any time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Halloween and happy Friday!
