Here are some ways to slow down your strategy and engage this unique demographic group:<\/p>\n<h2>Don&#8217;t Simply Sell, Target<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/jaysondemers\/2016\/06\/27\/7-ways-to-target-millennials-through-content-marketing\/#121354041ac9\">According to Forbes<\/a>, an estimated 84 percent of millennials don&#8217;t trust traditional advertising. That number isn&#8217;t just a blip on the radar; it&#8217;s indicative of an entire generation&#8217;s weariness of standard, broadly sweeping ad campaigns.<\/p>\n<h3>Personalized Content is Key<\/h3>\n<p>Instead of simply treating younger audiences like dollar signs, marketers need to take the time to understand exactly what their audience <em>wants<\/em> to see. Rather than simply communicating an audience to buy, brands should produce practical content that benefits millennials outside of existing solely as marketing material.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to create advertising that millennials feel is authentic is to collaborate with the audience.
