Natural Keyword Integration<\/h2>\n

You\u2019ve got a list of keywords that your client wants you to include in your writing. Now what do you do? You should definitely follow your client\u2019s directions, but you also must focus on writing well, not on randomly throwing keywords into your text. <\/span><\/p>\n

Search engines are more interested in meaningful content than keywords. Keywords are still important — they make it clear what your content is about — but you should never sacrifice quality for keywords. <\/span><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t have to be an either\/or situation, though; you can have great content as well as relevant keywords. Let\u2019s see how!<\/span><\/p>\n

All Natural<\/h3>\n

Making your keywords fit seamlessly into your writing is your number one keyword-related goal. No matter how relevant your content is, no one wants to read it if it\u2019s clunky and forced around keywords. <\/span><\/p>\n

You might need to rearrange keyword phrases so that they flow with your writing, or you might have to save a keyword for a different sentence if it doesn\u2019t fit. <\/span><\/p>\n

Never force keywords.<\/b><\/p>\n

Forced:<\/span><\/strong> If you want a <\/span>great tattoo<\/span><\/span>, come to the <\/span>best tattoo parlor Vancouver<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Improved:<\/span><\/strong> If you want a <\/span>great tattoo<\/span><\/span>, come to the <\/span>best tattoo parlor <\/span>in<\/b> Vancouver<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This sentence was easy to improved; I just added the <\/span>stop word<\/span><\/a> \u201cin\u201d. While I broke up the keyword \u201cbest tattoo parlour Vancouver\u201d, the sentence now makes grammatical sense, and algorithms won\u2019t even notice the \u201cin\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Forced:<\/span><\/strong> Our <\/span>free internet radio with no downloads<\/span><\/span> plays everything from classical to country, blues to Bhangra. <\/span><\/p>\n

Improved:<\/span><\/strong> Our <\/span>free internet radio<\/span><\/span> plays everything from classical to country, blues to Bhangra. Plus, we have <\/span>no downloads<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here I broke up the keyword phrase some more. Writing \u201cfree internet radio with no downloads\u201d screams, \u201cHere\u2019s my keyword!\u201d Breaking that phrase up makes the sentence sound natural.<\/span><\/p>\n

Density?<\/h3>\n

If your client has given you a keyword density that he wants, you should definitely follow that request. If there\u2019s no specified density, don\u2019t worry. <\/span><\/p>\n

Keyword density is unimportant for today\u2019s algorithms. As long as you mention your keywords once or twice, you\u2019re good to go. <\/span><\/p>\n

Just <\/span>make sure that you don\u2019t overuse keywords since search engines penalize keyword stuffing.<\/b><\/p>\n
